Abdul Ahad Ismail graduated with a high merit LL.B (Honors) degree from the University of London where he was editor of the TILS Law Journal, authoring PECA 2016 - Removal of Unlawful Online Content: Rules granting or denying rights. As the president of the TILS Mooting Society, he had the privilege of representing Pakistan at the 33rd Jean Pictet International Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, he received his post-secondary education from Forman Christian College, Lahore.

Before joining AwaisLaw DRT, Mr. Abdul Ahad interned with the Research Society of International Law (RSIL) where he authored a research paper on the Tripoli Attacks and the Geneva Conventions.

Mr. Abdul Ahad has been working as an associate with AwaisLaw DRT since 2021. His practice extends to complex contentious and non-contentious matters, with a significant focus on corporate governance and intellectual property laws, and he has established himself as the spearhead of the firm’s dispute resolution team.

Having a keen interest in academia, Mr. Abdul Ahad tutors the International Human Rights Law and European Union Law module at the distant learning institutes of the University of London.
