Hafsa Khan is an associate whose practice sits at the intersection of corporate/commercial work and technologyadjacent issues. She earned a BA LLB (Hons) from LUMS with a minor in Sociology & Anthropology, grounding her legal analysis in both doctrinal and sociolegal perspectives.
At LUMS, Hafsa served as a Research Assistant, supporting projects on bonded labour and the formalisation of the workforce and assisting with the drafting of legal documents; she also worked as a Teaching Assistant, helping design and deliver course materials.
She further developed practical experience as an intern with Cornelius, Lane & Mufti, conducting research and drafting across publicprivate procurement, arbitrationrelated dispute resolution, and trademark registration.
Hafsa’s interests include corporate law, digital rights, and the regulation of emerging technologies. Her senioryear project,“The Interplay of CBDCs & Privacy: The Future of Pakistan’s eRupee”. examined the State Bank of Pakistan’s proposed CBDC through the lens of privacy and dataprotection laws, advancing an evolutionary model informed by comparative international analysis.
