Tipu Salman Makhdoom is a Supreme Court lawyer, and a Senior Partner with AwaisLaw DRT since 2009. He has a broad and extensive practice in complex litigation and arbitration matters, including constitutional, commercial, civil, real estate, information technology, intellectual property, regulatory, criminal, securities, banking, labor, services, contests for corporate control, corporate criminal investigations.

Mr Makhdoom has some of the major local and international corporations and high net worth individuals in high profile matters many of which has been reported judgments by leading law journals. Recent representative clients include, inter alia, Bank of Khyber, Fat Burger, Pakistan International Airline, Civil Aviation Authority, Muslim Commercial Bank, Ghani Glass, Allied Bank Limited, Habib Bank Limited, WAPDA. He is considered to be amongst the best constitutional lawyers of the country and regularly represents clients in the Supreme Court and the High Courts on appellate and constitutional matters.

Mr Makhdoom is a published author with eight books and many articles to his credit. A few of his books have been translated in Urdu, English, and Gurmukhi. The volumes cover topics ranging from law, history, and fiction, with editions available in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Gurmukhi. He has also been teaching law at different universities.
